North West Championship Sheepdog Trial

Information for Spectators

We want to make this trial a special experience for spectators and handlers alike.

There will be people on hand to answer your questions throughout the event and if you cant find one of the volunteers (they wear vests with AK ME printed on the back) or a willing handler there is an information booth and program as well.

Sheepdog trials go on rain or shine, cold or hot. Spectators are advised to dress for changable weather and to bring their own lawn chairs, there are a small number of chairs and hay/straw bails available but they go fast.

Activities start at or before 8:00 each morning and continue until all the dogs have competed (typically around 5 PM).
