President — Ian Caldicott

Ian's love of herding dogs began watching sheepdog trials as a boy in England. He began herding when he got his first Border Collie in 1989. Since 2001 he has lived, raised sheep, and taught herding in Scio, Oregon. Ian competes at Open level sheepdog trials and has made numerous trips to the USBCHA finals, including 3 times in the semifinals. He also does herding demonstrations at Highland Games and Celtic Festivals all over the Pacific Northwest.

Treasurer — Kelly Harris

Kelly and her late husband Carl were originally from Nevada. They retired and moved to Oregon in 2016, and bought a small hobby farm where they bred and raised Fullblood White Dorpers.

Kelly is not a handler, but helps out at trials with scribing and tending to anything else that is needed. Ian trains and trials her dog Jamie. Her passion is Border Collies — watching them herd, learn, and enjoy the sport — along with a love for guardian dogs and watching them develop and protect.

Her second passion is bookkeeping and numbers. She volunteers for nonprofits as Treasurer and assists with bookkeeping practices she has learned over the years.
