Sponsor a Dog

Can't attend but want to support the oldest continuously held sheepdog trial in the country? Attending and want to feel more involved? Have a favorite dog or handler? Then consider sponsoring a dog in the competition — it's only $50. Sponsors' names will appear in the trial program and in three places on this website, including the running order.

You can sponsor a dog in Open or Nursery. If the dog you've sponsored wins the class in either of its two runs, you win a prize.

Sign up to sponsor a dog today using the button below. If you want to sponsor a specific dog, please include both the dog and handler's name. Sponsorship of specific dogs is first come, first served — if the dog you select is already sponsored, you'll be assigned a dog at random. You can look at the list of entered dogs to find a name, and if you want to sponsor a specific dog, put the handler and dog name in the note field when you make your purchase.
