Join the Northwest Championship crew
An event like the Northwest Championship Sheep Dog Trial requires a lot of people working behind the scenes to make things run smoothly. If you would like to help make this event a success, consider volunteering.
We need volunteers for the following jobs:
Scribe
Sit with the judge, operate the timer, and write down points off — adding up points and determining the final score.
Score Runner
Pick up score sheets from the scribe, double-check the math, and post to the main scoreboard.
Docent
Answer spectator questions.
Gate
Collect gate/parking entrance fees and hand out programs.
Parking
Direct cars to parking spaces. (In wet years this job is replaced by shuttle driver.)
Gofer
Help the course director by running errands, delivering messages, etc.
